About
Dr. El-Attar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Architecture and Building Sciences, King Saud University (KSU), since March 2004. Since his appointment at KSU, he has been teaching courses related to computers and their application as modeling tools in architcetural design, in additon to design methods, and research methods.
Currently, he is teaching Computer Skills-1 (ARCH 265), Computer Skills-2 (ARCH 355), Architectural Design - 5 (ARCH 410), and Design Methods and Techniques (ARCH 580).
Dr. El-Attar is a licensed architect in Egypt since 1980. He held a tenure position as an assistant professor at the Architecture Department, Faculty of Engineering, at Al-Azhar University, Cairo. In addition, he has been a visiting professor to the Department of Architecture at Misr International University, Cairo, and the Cairo Higher Institute for Computers, Information & Management, Department of Architecture, Cairo. Beside his academic career, Dr. El-Attar has been a PADI Open Water scuba instructor (1984-2002).
