About

Dr. Javeed Shaikh Mohammed is currently an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Technology (BMT) at King Saud University (KSU) at Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and in Engineering from the Louisiana Tech University, U.S.A.  in 2002 and 2006, respectively. From 2006-08, he was a postdoctoral associate in Professor David T. Eddington’s Biological Microsystems Lab at the University of Illinois-Chicago, U.S.A. From 2008-09, he  was a postdoctoral associate in Professor William L. Murphy’s Bioinspired Materials Laboratory, University of Wisconsin-Madison, U.S.A.

Dr. Shaikh Mohammed’s research interests include nanoengineered tissue engineering scaffolds, microfluidics, and hydrogels.
